I told pandit ji this when he called the day before and he asked a few questions about how the family usually did it. On the day he followed all of that, even small things like keeping the silver coins and the new account diary in the thali. He was calm and never hurried us, even when my mother-in-law took her time with the aarti. She told us later that she felt the puja was complete. That meant a lot to us.

4The puja itself was fine and pandit ji knew the vidhi well. But he reached almost an hour late, we had kept everything ready by 6 and the whole family was waiting. He said he got stuck at another booking. The samagri kit was also missing kamal gatta and gomti chakra.

5We do Lakshmi puja on Amavasya every year and this time booked through the app. Pandit ji explained the sankalp in Kannada to my father and told the kids the story behind the puja while he was setting up the kalash. Very satisfied.
